When she isn’t singing in jp*orbit or family band Orange Sherbet, Jill runs the Bay Area program Mary Ann Hall’s Music for Children. If what the scientists say is true, she’ll live an extra 15 years from all the singing.

Steve has an obsession for steel – pedal steel, lap steel....you get the picture. He plays lead guitar in jp*orbit and and plans to retire on the profits from the Marshmallow song he wrote for Orange Sherbet. He co-owns the Bay Area program Mary Ann Hall’s Music for Children.
Tamsen has recorded and released multiple albums under her record label, Elephant Red Records, including her own Tom Waits-style cabaret rock and the family-friendly kid band Orange Sherbet.

Here’s a little sample of Just Another Day. If you like the songs, post them on your myspace page, tell your friends, send me an email or, best of all, buy the album.
Kirk just happened to move into the apartment upstairs, which is great for everyone involved. He’s rockin’ the free world every day. You can check out his own folky rock at his myspace page.
Pickle plays drums in so many projects it’s hard to fit them into this space. He’s part of the pagan lounge ensemble Rosin Coven, tasty indie rawk band The Tongues and feral jazz group Dr. Abacus. In his spare time he runs Metric Sound Productions.
Dan plays a little bit of everything, but his main instruments are accordion, piano and the musical saw. He’s scored music for more than 30 documentary films – including one that won an Emmy Award. His musical projects have recently focused on Eastern European sounds.
Jeff is one of the Kings of Klown-Fi, the saxophonist from Gooferman, and the master of many instruments. You can catch him playing with the trio 3 Blind Mice during weekly poetry slams at the Starry Plough.
Jason, Adrian and Brian Kirsch played as the amazing SF jazz-jam trio Mama’s Cousin before heading their separate ways. Jason now lives in Brooklyn, and has a new project you can check out here.
It’s nice to have old friends with incredible talent. Carolyn is an amazing violin player, music teacher and all-around great person. Her strings add a special sound to the album that was totally unexpected, so she just kept playing on more and more songs.
Adrian wrote all the songs. And recorded everything. And produced and engineered everything. This is his album. That’s why you’re here.
Erik tours full-time as part of the high-altitude bluegrass band Hot Buttered Rum. When he’s in the Bay Area, he plays with the eponymous Erik Yates Project. He’s a master of many instruments, including most things with strings or reeds.
